Founded in 1969, Le Forban Sécurité Mer is a French professional dive watch brand among the rare ones to have equipped the French Navy and Maritime Patrol Pilots (PATMAR) in the 1970s-80s. Its timepieces were designed as genuine underwater work instruments, robust, precise, and rigorously watertight to withstand extreme deep-sea conditions. After a 30-year eclipse, the brand was revived in 2019, faithful to its original tool-watch professional DNA. Today, it offers a range of neo-vintage automatic watches assembled, tested, and adjusted in Rennes, Brittany, by a team of French horologists.
