MAEN

MAEN is a watch brand founded in 2017 by Sebastiaan Cortjaens and Jules van Helvoort, two Dutch watch enthusiasts. Based in Stockholm, it combines vintage inspiration, contemporary construction and a strong focus on value for money. Its name comes from “Maen”, the old Dutch spelling of Moon. The brand pays particular attention to materials, finishing and details while following a direct-to-consumer approach. In the dive watch category, the Hudson collection is its main reference. The Hudson 38 MK5 features a 38 mm 316L stainless-steel case, a unidirectional ceramic bezel and 300 metres of water resistance. Sapphire crystal, X1 Super-LumiNova and a Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement complete a design focused on robustness and legibility. MAEN thus produces compact dive watches with serious specifications and a distinctive neo-vintage aesthetic.
