Pequignet
Founded in 1973 in Morteau by Émile Pequignet, Pequignet is an independent French watch manufacture specialising in the design and assembly of high-end timepieces. Since 2010, the company has developed its own movements in its workshops in the Jura region, including the Calibre Royal®, introduced in 2011. Its expertise has been recognised with the French Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, awarded in 2014 and renewed in 2019 and 2025. Although Pequignet is primarily known for French Haute Horlogerie, it also applies its expertise to diving watches with the Extrême 300. This model combines the Calibre Royal® with 300-metre water resistance, a unidirectional rotating bezel and enhanced LumiNova® visibility. Its patented quarter-turn crown and 88-hour power reserve reinforce its sporting credentials. The Extrême 300 therefore brings Pequignet’s fine-watchmaking expertise into the professional diving-watch category. All Pequignet watches are designed and assembled in the manufacture’s historic workshops in Morteau.
