Founded in 2014 by Jonathan Kamstrup and Christian Mygh, REC Watches is an independent Danish watch brand specializing in timepieces inspired by historic machines. Its concept revolves around recovering and repurposing materials from iconic vehicles. Classic cars, legendary motorcycles, and military aircraft are among the brand's main sources of inspiration. Its creations include watches incorporating fragments from the famous British Spitfire and the legendary SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft. Designed in Denmark and manufactured in Switzerland, its timepieces combine quality movements, historic materials, and contemporary design. Each watch preserves the marks and imperfections of its original components, giving it a unique character. Collections are naturally limited by the availability of reclaimed materials.
