Founded in 1854 in Waterbury, Connecticut, Timex is one of the most historic names in American watchmaking.Its history is also closely connected to the military world, with functional watches produced for the U.S. armed forces. This heritage can still be seen in collections such as the MK1 and Expedition, inspired by traditional military field watches. Timex has also developed a strong presence in the dive and sports watch segment, offering robust and highly legible timepieces. The Deepwater collection notably includes watches with water resistance of up to 200 metres, depending on the model.
