Wolbrook

Wolbrook is a watch brand founded in the United States in 1949 around a philosophy centred on durability, accuracy and affordability. From its earliest years, the company developed water-resistant and shock-resistant tool watches intended for professionals and active users. In the late 1950s, Wolbrook began drawing on French watchmaking expertise, which had become renowned for the production of sports and dive watches. The Skindiver models introduced during the 1960s became the brand’s most iconic timepieces thanks to their compact construction, high legibility and aquatic purpose. Some versions even combined features associated with both dive watches and pilot watches, as illustrated by the Skindiver Worldtimer. Revived in 2019 after several decades of inactivity, Wolbrook now produces modern reinterpretations of its historic tool watches. Its watches and chronographs are assembled and, when mechanical, regulated by professional watchmakers near Besançon, France. Wolbrook therefore continues to promote a functional vision of the professional dive watch, combining American heritage, French watchmaking expertise and construction suited to everyday use.
