Founded in 2007 by brothers Nick and Giles English, Bremont was built on two obsessions: aviation and British manufacturing. The MB series takes its name from Martin-Baker, the British engineering firm behind more than 75% of the ejection seats in service worldwide. This collaboration gave rise to the MB1, subjected to the manufacturer’s live ejection test programme and reserved exclusively for members of the Ejection Tie Club, pilots who have survived an ejection. The civilian versions that followed retained the same codes: a double crown, an internal Roto-Click bezel, and a seconds hand whose counterweight echoes an ejection handle.
The name Meteor does not refer to the dial but to the Gloster Meteor, Britain’s first jet aircraft, which Martin-Baker used for its first in-flight ejection test in 1946. The Stealth Grey version extends this heritage by translating it into a stealth register, all in matte grey, which Bremont presents as the next step in its stealth watch lineage.
