Starting from 799 €

The Casio G-SHOCK Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 is the new aviation watch in the MASTER OF G, AIR family. Announced in June 2026, it succeeds the GWR-B1000 and introduces TOUGH MVT. 2, a solar-powered analogue quartz movement capable of correcting its hand position after a shock and pausing them when exposed to a strong magnetic field. Its 47.3mm Carbon Core Guard case combines bio-based resin reinforced with carbon fibre and metal-injection-moulded steel components, delivering a slimmer Triple G Resist construction than before. Radio-controlled, Bluetooth-connected and fitted with a Flight Log, it is aimed at pilots and technical watch enthusiasts. Three versions are available.

Casio G-SHOCK Gravitymaster pilot’s watch

Casio launched G-SHOCK around a single obsession: building a watch that does not break. The Master of G family now applies that principle by field of use, with land, sea and air lines. The Gravitymaster occupies the latter, dedicated to flight, bringing together models designed to withstand not only shocks but also the centrifugal force and vibrations a pilot experiences during manoeuvres.

The GWR-B3000 succeeds the GWR-B1000, discontinued in 2024, and becomes the range’s flagship piece. Announced by Casio on 4 June 2026 for a Japanese release on 10 July, it is manufactured in Japan. Its main appeal lies in the arrival of the second generation Tough Movement, which adds two autonomous safeguards to radio correction: immediate hand repositioning after a shock, and pausing when a powerful magnetic field is detected, with the movement resuming afterwards without losing time. A Shock Detection marking is engraved near the crown.

The flight-instrument spirit also shows in the details. The bezel carries no logos, only world-time city codes, the matte micro-textured dial diffuses light rather than reflecting it behind a crystal, and the Flight Log function records position and timestamp for later review on a map via the app. An aviation watch conceived as a tool, not an accessory.

The Casio G-SHOCK Gravitymaster pilot’s watch

The Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 stands as the most accomplished interpretation yet of the Master of G collection’s aviation branch. Its case measures 47.3mm wide and 14.1mm thick, imposing dimensions but notably more restrained than previous Gravitymaster models, with weight kept down to 102g thanks to a bio-based resin reinforced with carbon fibre. The Carbon Core Guard construction is completed by exterior elements in metal-injection-moulded stainless steel and resin shock absorbers that suspend the watch’s core at four points.

This architecture, named Dual Hollow and developed through simulation, pursues a simple goal: lowering the case profile without sacrificing strength, hence the Triple G Resist designation covering shocks, centrifugal force and vibrations. The matte micro-textured dial diffuses light rather than reflecting it, a choice designed for cockpit legibility, and it is protected by a spherical anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The hands and hour markers receive a Neobrite coating, backed at night by Super Illuminator LED lighting. The 200m / 20 bar water resistance and screw-down crown place this aviation watch well beyond everyday demands. The flexible urethane strap, closed with a pin buckle, provides a firm hold in flight as on the ground.

Three versions and functions built for flight

The model comes in three executions sharing the same technical base and distinguished by their colours and finishes. The GWR-B3000-1A, priced at €799, pairs a textured black dial with a natural steel bezel, without surface treatment. The GWR-B3000A-2A, priced at €899, adopts a textured blue dial and a bezel treated with blue IP coating, in a directly aeronautical spirit. The GWR-B3000B-8A, the most expensive at €999, features a textured grey dial and a grey IP-treated bezel, for a more discreet look. Each reference comes with a two-tone urethane strap coordinated to its dial.

Beyond appearance, it is the functional content that defines this watch. The Casio module 5756 drives a UTC display accessible at the touch of a button, a second time zone, 38 time zones and around 300 adjustable cities via the CASIO WATCHES app. Multi-Band 6 radio reception and Bluetooth synchronisation keep the time constantly accurate, while the Flight Log records latitude, longitude and timestamp for later map review. These are joined by a stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, automatic calendar and phone finder. The roughly five-month power reserve without light exposure, extended to twenty-two months in power-saving mode, removes any charging concerns. The strap fits wrists from 145 to 215mm.

Casio G-SHOCK Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 pilot’s watch: a connected flight instrument

The Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 combines a 47.3mm Carbon Core Guard case, 14.1mm thick and weighing 102 grams, a Dual Hollow structure with four suspension points and a Triple G Resist construction against shocks, centrifugal force and vibrations. The Tough MVT. 2 movement, module 5756, pairs solar charging with Multi-Band 6 radio reception and Bluetooth connection to the CASIO WATCHES app. An anti-reflective spherical sapphire crystal, matte micro-textured dial, Neobrite hands, Super Illuminator LED lighting, 200-metre water resistance and screw-down crown complete the package. Three versions, black, blue or grey, are offered from €799 to €999, with a two-year international warranty.

01

Movement

The GWR-B3000 introduces TOUGH MVT. 2, the second generation of Casio’s high-precision analogue movement, identified as module 5756. It is a Tough Solar quartz movement, complemented by Multi-Band 6 radio reception and a Bluetooth link that syncs the time with the CASIO WATCHES app. Two new safeguards monitor timekeeping: the hands are repositioned immediately after a shock, then paused in the presence of a strong magnetic field before resuming without any time loss. The stated power reserve reaches around five months without light exposure.

Diameter and materials

The case measures 47.3mm wide by 14.1mm thick and 102g, figures kept in check compared to the bulk of earlier Gravitymaster models. The Carbon Core Guard shell is moulded from bio-based resin reinforced with carbon fibre, while the exterior elements are made from metal-injection-moulded stainless steel. Resin shock absorbers suspend the module at four points. The anti-reflective spherical sapphire crystal protects a matte micro-textured dial available in black, blue or grey, with the bezel receiving a blue or grey IP treatment depending on the version.

03

Water resistance

The Gravitymaster offers 200m / 20 bar water resistance, a rare level for an aviation watch and more than enough for swimming and water sports. The screw-down crown, topped with the Shock Detection marking, locks the case’s most exposed point, while the Dual Hollow construction shields the movement from external aggression. For reading in the dark, Neobrite hands and hour markers take over, backed by Super Illuminator LED lighting that reveals the whole dial at the touch of a button.

Accessories

Each reference ships on a flexible two-layer urethane strap, also moulded from bio-based resin, two-tone and coordinated with the dial: black with grey underside, blue, or grey with black underside. The closure uses a traditional pin buckle, and the adjustment range covers wrists from 145 to 215mm, from slim to larger builds. On the digital side, the CASIO WATCHES app provides access to the Flight Log, adjustment of around 300 cities, and the Phone Finder function.

Warranty

The watch comes with a two-year international warranty, honoured through the Casio network and relayed by authorised retailers. The Tough Solar power source avoids any battery changes and so limits servicing over time, charging being handled by cells built into the dial counters. Made in Japan, the Gravitymaster GWR-B3000 is built for intensive, long-term use, with radio correction and Bluetooth synchronisation also keeping the time accurate without any manual adjustment.
