Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 dive watch

Starting from 1.050 €

The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 is an automatic dive watch designed to combine underwater performance with everyday wearability. Developed as a slimmer alternative to the C60 Trident Pro 600, it retains 300 metres of water resistance in a Light-catcher™ stainless steel case available in 38, 40, 42 and 44 mm. Its polished lacquer dial, offered in black, blue or white, features large luminous indexes, a date window at 6 o’clock and an arrow-tipped seconds hand with the brand’s signature Trident counter-balance. A unidirectional ceramic bezel, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and Swiss Sellita SW200-1 calibre complete a technical, highly legible and versatile package, available with several steel or rubber strap options.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 dive watch

The C60 Trident Pro 300 sits at the heart of the Trident family, one of Christopher Ward’s most important dive-watch collections. Its development started with a simple idea: retain the identity and capabilities of a Trident while creating a watch that is easier to wear than the C60 Trident Pro 600. To define this evolution, the brand consulted members of the Christopher Ward Forum about their ideal dive watch. The result is a model that can be up to 1.9 mm slimmer than the Pro 600 depending on case size, while maintaining 300 metres of water resistance. This focus on versatility can also be seen in the four case sizes, ranging from 38 to 44 mm, and in the choice of black, blue or white dials.

The visual identity has also been refined: the applied Twin Flags logo sits at 12 o’clock opposite the date window at 6, while larger indexes increase the luminous surface area. The seconds hand is particularly distinctive. Its arrow-shaped tip is influenced by the C60 Concept, while the opposite end features Christopher Ward’s signature Trident counter-balance, a detail that is both functional and instantly recognisable. The two-part bezel combines a unidirectional rotating outer section with a coloured ceramic insert and a fixed steel inner ring marked with minute graduations. The C60 Trident Pro 300 therefore retains the character of a genuine tool watch while remaining refined enough for everyday use.

The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 Dive Watch

The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 follows the fundamental codes of a contemporary dive watch while paying particular attention to balance on the wrist. The brushed and polished stainless steel Light-catcher™ case is available in 38, 40, 42 and 44 mm, with thickness ranging from 11 to 11.7 mm. This relatively restrained construction for a watch water-resistant to 300 metres is one of the model’s defining features. The different sizes make it possible to retain the same architecture without imposing a single format on every wrist. The bezel is also more elaborate than a simple dive ring: its outer section rotates unidirectionally and features a zirconia ceramic insert, while a fixed inner steel ring carries a full minute scale.

The polished lacquered dial concentrates several finishing details. The indexes are brushed on their upper surface and present diamond-polished facets, while receiving Super-LumiNova Grade X1 BL C1. The same luminous material is used on the hands and bezel markings. At 12 o’clock, the applied Twin Flags logo responds to the date window at 6 o’clock, whose disc matches the tone of the dial. The seconds hand deserves particular attention: its arrow tip is inspired by the C60 Concept and it retains the Trident signature counterweight, a graphic detail directly linked to the identity of the collection. Each watch also receives a unique engraved serial number.

300 Metres of Water Resistance and a Swiss Automatic Calibre

The vocation of the C60 Trident Pro 300 does not rely solely on its aesthetics. Its 300-metre / 30 ATM water resistance gives it real legitimacy as a dive watch, while the unidirectional bezel and the strong presence of luminous material make it easier to track time underwater and read in the dark. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the transparent screw-down caseback allows the movement to be observed without sacrificing the stated water resistance. Christopher Ward has chosen the Sellita SW200-1, a Swiss automatic calibre with 26 jewels operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz. It provides a date display, hacking seconds, an anti-shock system and a 38-hour power reserve. Its stated accuracy tolerance is between -5 and +12 seconds per day.

The movement features an Elaboré “Colimaçoné” finish, visible through the exhibition caseback, as well as a decorated and engraved rotor. This presentation adds a horological dimension to a watch that remains fundamentally utilitarian. Versatility continues with the straps: Bader or Consort in steel, but also Hybrid Rubber and Aquaflex Rubber depending on the configuration. The marine-grade steel Bader bracelet stands out in particular for its screwed links, quick-release system and micro-adjustable ratcheting clasp. The C60 Trident Pro 300 can therefore move from a very sporty rubber configuration to a more refined presence on steel, without losing its dive-watch identity.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 dive watch: versatility and technical performance

The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 combines 300 metres of water resistance with a relatively slim Light-catcher™ case available in 38, 40, 42 and 44 mm. Its polished lacquer dial, offered in black, blue or white, features faceted indexes and Super-LumiNova Grade X1 BL C1. The arrow-tipped seconds hand, inspired by the C60 Concept, is distinguished by the signature Trident counter-balance. A unidirectional zirconia ceramic bezel, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and Sellita SW200-1 automatic calibre with a 38-hour power reserve reinforce its technical credentials. Several steel and rubber strap options allow its style and use to be adapted.

01

Movement

The C60 Trident Pro 300 is powered by the Sellita SW200-1, a Swiss automatic mechanical movement with 26 jewels. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and delivers a 38-hour power reserve. It features a date display, central hacking seconds and an anti-shock system. Its stated accuracy tolerance is -5/+12 seconds per day. The Elaboré “Colimaçoné” finish and engraved rotor are visible through the transparent caseback.

02

Diameter and materials

The Light-catcher™ case in stainless steel is available in 38, 40, 42 and 44 mm. Thickness ranges from 11 to 11.7 mm depending on the diameter, while the lug-to-lug measurement ranges from 45 mm on the 38 mm version to 51.4 mm on the 44 mm version. The brushed and polished surfaces add definition to the case. The unidirectional bezel uses a zirconia ceramic insert combined with a fixed inner steel ring.

03

Water resistance

The C60 Trident Pro 300 offers 300 metres / 30 ATM of water resistance. This allows Christopher Ward to retain genuine dive-watch credentials while reducing thickness by up to 1.9 mm compared with the Pro 600, depending on the size. The unidirectional bezel, luminous graduations and Super-LumiNova Grade X1 BL C1 applied to the hands and indexes improve underwater legibility. The sapphire crystal features an anti-reflective treatment.

04

Accessories

The C60 Trident Pro 300 can be configured with several straps. Christopher Ward notably offers the Bader and Consort steel bracelets, as well as various rubber options including Hybrid Rubber and Aquaflex Rubber. The marine-grade steel Bader features screwed links, a quick-release system and a micro-adjustable ratcheting clasp. The watch is supplied in a luxury eco-friendly presentation box with its owner’s manual. Available options vary depending on the chosen configuration.

05

Warranty

Christopher Ward provides the C60 Trident Pro 300 with a 60-month movement warranty, equivalent to five years. This warranty covers the mechanical heart of the watch according to the conditions defined by the brand. Christopher Ward also offers 60 days of free returns worldwide. The presence of a unique engraved serial number identifies each individual watch.
