Founded in 1955 by Heinz Huber, CiRCULA is a family-owned watch company based in Pforzheim, one of Germany’s historic watchmaking centres. Today, the company is run by Cornelius Huber, the third generation of the family, and specialises in mechanical watches designed as genuine tool watches. Robustness, legibility and reliability form the foundations of its collections, developed for demanding use on land, in the air and underwater. This philosophy is particularly evident in the Pro Series, comprising the ProTrail, ProFlight and ProSea, the latter being specifically dedicated to diving. The watches are assembled in Germany and each movement is individually inspected and regulated by the watchmakers at the manufacture. CiRCULA combines German craftsmanship with Swiss Sellita movements and durable materials including 316L stainless steel, grade 2 titanium and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Local production and short supply routes also play an important role in the company’s environmental strategy. With its ProSea dive watches, CiRCULA translates more than 70 years of watchmaking tradition into contemporary mechanical instruments built for demanding environments.
