Kelton

Founded in 1955, Kelton is a French watch brand created through the partnership between TIMEX and Stéphane Boullier. Based in Besançon, the company quickly gained recognition for affordable, robust watches that became widely distributed across France. During the 1970s, Kelton became a major name in French watchmaking, selling several million watches. After a long period of withdrawal, the brand returned in 2016 with collections combining heritage, vintage influences and contemporary design. Its watches continue to be designed and assembled in France, maintaining the link with its industrial roots. For diving, Kelton now offers the 1955 collection, positioned within its sporting range. The line includes several automatic models with different water-resistance ratings, reaching up to 400 metres depending on the version. These watches use classic dive-watch features such as rotating bezels, strong legibility, sapphire crystals and water-ready straps. The 1955 collection therefore gives Kelton a credible tool-watch offering consistent with its historic reputation for robust and accessible watches.
