Paulin is a Scottish watch brand founded in Glasgow in 2013 by three sisters, Charlotte, Eleanor and Elizabeth Paulin. Known for its creative approach, the brand combines contemporary design, distinctive colours and watchmaking craftsmanship. Since 2023, Paulin has been part of anOrdain, sharing its design and assembly workshops in Glasgow. Initially focused on everyday watches, the company entered the diving watch market with the Mara, its first dedicated dive watch, introduced in 2025. Developed with input from diver and journalist Jason Heaton, the Mara prioritises underwater legibility and reliability. Water-resistant to 300 metres, it features a unidirectional rotating bezel, sapphire crystal and Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement. Its luminous markers and high-contrast dial ensure excellent readability in low-light conditions. Tested along the Scottish coastline, particularly in the Outer Hebrides, the Mara reflects Paulin's ambition to combine functional watchmaking with a distinctive graphic identity. The brand also promotes responsible manufacturing through small production runs, repairability and recycled materials.
