U-Boat

Founded in Tuscany and led by designer Italo Fontana, U-BOAT has been creating highly distinctive watches in Italy for almost twenty years. The brand emphasises craftsmanship, limited production and a strong technical, instrument-inspired identity. In the diving segment, U-BOAT offers a dedicated Dive Watch range designed to withstand the demands of professional underwater use. The collection includes models such as the Sommerso, characterised by substantial cases, rotating bezels and strong underwater legibility. Several references are water-resistant to 300 metres, with screw-down crowns, sapphire crystals and Swiss automatic movements. U-BOAT pushes this concept further with models such as the Profondo 10001, developed for extreme depths. Depending on the reference, the Dive Watch range reaches water resistance of up to 1001 metres. U-BOAT therefore combines bold Italian styling with specifications that are genuinely suited to diving. Its watches nevertheless remain larger and more visually assertive than most traditional dive watches.
