Military watches

Military watches occupy a unique place in the world of watchmaking, straddling the line between pure instrument and historical object. Whether associated with Commando units or Special Forces, they primarily meet the demands of reliability, legibility, and robustness. Behind these often-confused names, however, lie distinct realities, linked to missions, doctrines, and equipment requirements. Some watches are designed for standardized, collective issue, while others are individually selected for specific operations. All, however, share the same philosophy: to tell the time accurately, whatever the conditions. It is this duality between military heritage and operational use that shapes the identity of military watches, both past and present.
