YEMA pays tribute to the submarine forces with the Navygraf Barracuda CMM.20 Limited Edition
French watchmaker YEMA expands its Navygraf collection with a new limited edition developed in partnership with the French Navy. Named the Navygraf Barracuda CMM.20 Limited Edition, this diver's watch draws inspiration from the Barracuda nuclear attack submarine program and the world of the French submarine force. Produced in a limited run of 400 pieces, it combines specific design elements, a micro-rotor in-house movement, and technical features meeting current standards for dive watches. It is available for approximately €2,249.
The YEMA Navygraf Barracuda: a collaboration with the French Navy
As the official watchmaking partner of the French Navy, YEMA continues to develop models directly linked to the French military maritime world. This Barracuda edition references the nuclear attack submarine program that is progressively modernizing the French fleet. Its name, markings, and several aesthetic elements evoke this operational environment without transforming the watch into standard military equipment. The case back notably features the insignia of the Submarine Forces, while a red-tinted sapphire crystal echoes the lighting used aboard submarines to preserve the crews' night vision during operations.

A design inspired by the underwater world
The Navygraf Barracuda retains the general lines of the historic collection launched by YEMA in the 1970s while incorporating several updates. Its 39 mm stainless steel case is a slim 9.75 mm thick, a relatively compact size for a watch water-resistant to 300 meters. The dial and bezel insert are made of forged carbon, a material that gives each watch a slightly different appearance. The applied hour markers and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova Grade A, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The red-accented minute hand makes it easy to read dive time or a timed sequence.
The CMM.20 manufacture caliber
This limited edition is powered by the CMM.20 manufacture caliber, developed and assembled in YEMA's workshops in Morteau, France. This automatic micro-rotor movement offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. According to the brand, its accuracy is regulated between -3 and +7 seconds per day. The use of a micro-rotor allows for a reduction in the movement's thickness and contributes to the exceptionally slim profile of this diver's watch, while maintaining a modern mechanical architecture.
