Nodus Watches is an independent American brand based in California, whose watches are designed and assembled in Los Angeles before being inspected in its local workshop. This human-scale organisation explains the house's positioning: tool watches with a tight ratio between technical specification and price, built for real use rather than the display case.
The Sector collection was born in 2019 and has since served as a platform for a large part of the catalogue, from the dressier Sector GMT to the Sector Deep, water resistant to 500 metres. The name comes from the sector dial, divided by boundaries of printing, texture and finish, a motif that appeared as much on military watches as on dress pieces from the middle of the last century. In 2024, Nodus tightened the proportions of the range with the Sector II models.
The Sector II Field Titanium marks a further step: it is the brand's first titanium watch, and Nodus chose to introduce it on its most accessible collection rather than on a premium model. Launched in 2025 on a rubber strap, the watch was later relaunched with a full titanium bracelet and NEM clasp. The spirit remains that of the field watch: instant legibility, fixed bezel, compact case and a material impervious to corrosion, without seeking to literally copy vintage military codes.

The Nodus Sector II Field Titanium military watch
The Nodus Sector II Field Titanium pushes the field watch concept towards a deliberately compact construction. Its case measures 38 mm in diameter for 47 mm lug to lug, dimensions that sit comfortably on both slim and wider wrists. Most of the effort, however, goes into the height: at 11.7 mm thick, the watch ranks among the slimmest constructions ever built around a Seiko NH movement. This result comes from a redesigned case middle and crystal: the domed “box” sapphire creates a cavity into which the dial and hands recede, removing the thickness usually lost beneath the glass. A blue anti-reflective coating applied to the inner face limits stray glare.
Material is the model's other selling point: grade 2 titanium brings lightness and corrosion resistance, and receives a hard 2000 HV coating designed to contain scratches, this alloy's traditional weakness. The finish is entirely matte sandblasted, in the spirit of military watches, and the tiered fixed bezel frames a two-level sector dial: a raised, openworked centre, a recessed Arabic numeral ring with a metallic gradient, and a chapter ring bearing the railroad track and an inner 24-hour scale. Six versions for a contemporary field watch
The Sector II Field Titanium is offered in six versions that share the same architecture but change the mood entirely. Three of them, Shale in a black and grey gradient, Marina in blue and Sequoia in green, are fitted with a curved grade 2 titanium bracelet tapering from 20 to 16 mm, closed by an extendable NEM clasp and equipped with quick-release lugs. The other three, grouped under the Cerakote Edition name, receive a case coated in Cerakote®: Canopy in forest green, Dusk in navy blue and FDE in a military bronze brown, each with a dial gradient matched to the case, Old Radium Grade X1 lume and a coordinated hybrid TecTuff® DPM rubber strap with a titanium buckle.
Weight varies accordingly: 100 g on the unadjusted titanium bracelet, 45 g for the case alone on the rubber versions. Nodus regulates it in its Los Angeles workshop to achieve an accuracy of ±10 seconds per day. Magnetic resistance exceeds 4800 A/m, an asset for field use.
Diameter and materials
The case measures 38 mm in diameter for 11.7 mm thick, 47 mm lug to lug and a 20 mm lug width. It is machined from grade 2 titanium, a light and corrosion-resistant material, protected by a hard 2000 HV coating. The three Cerakote Editions instead receive a coloured Cerakote® layer, forest green, navy blue or bronze brown, with a matching gradient dial. Water resistance
The watch offers 100 metres of water resistance, or 10 ATM, a level suited to swimming, surface water activities and field use exposed to rain or mud. The fixed bezel rules out any dive timing: this is not a diver's watch, but a military watch able to withstand water without special care in daily life, showers included.

Warranty
Nodus covers each of its watches with a 24 month limited international warranty, covering manufacturing defects and transferable with certain limitations. Pieces are assembled and inspected at the Los Angeles workshop, which also handles after-sales service under warranty. Normal wear and accidental damage fall outside this cover.
